I wanted to ask them why they stopped but the words refused to form in my mouth so I kept looking at them as I tried to regulate my breathing.

“O yes! It’s surely time for dessert!.” Xavier answered, linking his lower lips.
I can’t believe they left me unfinished because they want to eat more food. I did not see any desert along with the food Xavier brought.
“Like seriously! Is the food more important to them than their mate?”. I internally complained since I seems to have turn dumb all of a sudden.
“We will love to have our dessert now. Will you allow us to have it?.” Xavier asked for my permission. I found that strange.
