Alex POV
After Adonis and I were done saying goodbye to the Alpha Wick’s family, we headed to the car.
“Is there anything you want?.” Alpha Adonis asked me when we entered the car.
“No, I am fine! Thank you for coming to get me.” I appreciated him. A great part of me didn’t actually expect him to go through all those trouble for a mere human like me.
“Listen, you don’t have to thank me. It’s my job. I will always be there for you whenever you need me.” Adonis promised me and pulled me into a hug.
I smiled as I smuggled into his arms. This feels like home. I am lucky to have someone like him in my life.
After a while, Adonis let go of me and started to drive the car.
