Ethan could tell something was seriously off. He quickly asked, "Doctor, what's going on with Anna?"
The doctor was taken aback too. He reached for his tools and began examining her.
Anna didn't move away, just stared straight at his face.
She remembered bragging to her classmates that she'd date a good-looking doctor someday. They'd all laughed at her back then.
Now, standing in front of her, was basically her teenage dream type.
She remembered her dad once said, "If you like someone, don't hesitate."
With a small smile, Anna asked, "Can I ask you something?"
The doctor looked confused—wasn't he supposed to be the one asking questions?
Normally, he wouldn't answer personal stuff, but considering the intimidating guy sitting next to him, he just nodded helplessly.
