My mate is a wolf? That can't be right. No, that can't be. It is my worst nightmare come true. I wanted my mate; I had always wished for a mate, and he was a wolf. I can't deal with that right now. I thought I was going to die in that cell, and now they are telling me that my worst enemy is the person I have to spend my life with. I did what I had to do. I rejected him even more now that I know he is an alpha. I don't want him in my life.
He even got my animal to speak after all this time. Winter recognizes him as her mate, but that is all she does. She says nothing else and has stayed quiet ever since.
