Kailee's POV
We were now at the courtyard's entrance, and the tunnel's exit was near. I could feel the air buzzing around us, like a warning for the upcoming battle. I knew Amanda could be on the other side, which is why a witch was with us. She would put a protection spell on us when we exited, in case Amanda was outside the moment we exited.
"Is everyone ready?" I asked.
Some answered me, while others only hummed.
"We are ready when you are, beautiful," Alexander said.
I took a deep breath. This feeling has been constantly nagging me. For some reason, I feel uneasy, but up until now, we haven't encountered anything strange. Esmeralda played her role perfectly, and Amanda should be focused on her attack. We are supposed to be undetected.
