"You need to study, so I am allowing you to attend our local University. We will pay for all your expenses; all we need in return is your help with some missions," Alessandro said seriously. I looked at him, not understanding what he meant.
“What kind of missions?” I asked.
“There are some rogues that have been causing trouble with the humans. We don’t want hunters roaming the territory,” he looked at me in the eye and tried to grab my hand. I quickly withdrew it. “I mean no harm, Jennifer. You are a strong warrior, and your help could benefit us.”
