As I rose from the circle, I extinguished the candles, the acrid smoke curling into the air. I could find her now or wait until I informed the Alpha. The truth was I wanted to get out of here fast. I was developing feelings from these wolves I didn't like, so it was best to return to my coven, where I felt safe.
I gathered my things and stepped out into the cool night. Some guards wanted to stop me, but when they saw I was about to burn their asses, they quickly retreated.
