I knew Liam would do something special for Jensen, but I never expected him to do so much. He got him tons of gifts, so many that I had no idea how he was going to hide them until dinner. I think he might have gone a little overboard.
“I don’t think Jensen will need these many gifts,” I admitted.
“Perhaps, but it is compensation for not celebrating it on the actual day,” Liam replied with a smirk. “Besides, it’s not just about the gifts. It’s about making it special for him.”
I crossed my arms, arching a brow at the mountain of presents in the corner of his office. “You sure this isn’t just an excuse for you to spoil him? Or perhaps… win him over?”
Liam shrugged, completely unapologetic. “Maybe. But is that so bad? I do want to marry his mom one day.”
