Declan tucked me under his arm and pushed through the crowd as we headed toward the back, just like Gerard used to do.
Outside, Gerard pulled up and jumped out of a limo along with six other men. “Everyone back!" he yelled, grabbing for me.
“No, I have her. Just keep them off us until we're gone." Declan lifted his chin, motioning across the street to the limo where Jackson was waiting with the door open. “My driver's right over there."
Gerard's head snapped around, and then he looked back at us. “I'll stay on her other side until you two are safe."
Declan stared at him for a moment and then nodded once. “Thanks, man."
Gerard nodded and looked around him. “Men, keep the crowd back!"
“Aye!" they all yelled in unison, creating a wall of muscle between the paparazzi and us.
