The man’s eyes softened as he looked at me—like he was seeing something both sacred and terrifying. “You are what the ancients called an Enigma,” he said finally, the word rolling off his tongue like a prayer.
An icy tremor crawled down my spine. “An… Enigma?” I repeated the word foreign, unreal. “What’s that?”
“You are more powerful than an Alpha, a superior being. What you just did is just the tip of the iceberg,” He explained.
