My phone has not stopped ringing , because Joshua has been calling and texting me non stop since our fight at the library , I am trying really hard to focus on my text books but so far it is not working at all , I may need to turn off my phone , but before I do that I think it would be better if I call my mom and let her know she won’t be able to reach me through my phone , I dial the familiar number and my mom answers after the third ring.
“ Hi mamá ” I greet her with fake enthusiasm.
“ Hola Mija , where are you ? did something happened ? ” she asks me when she notices how clearly faked my mood is , and I have to suppress the urge to blurt everything out so she can console me , no , that would only worry her and I can't add another problem with so much on her plate already.
