Testing Lola
After Zoey woke up, she saw Russell lying on his side, looking at her.
"Awake?"
"Um." Zoey snuggled into his arms and closed her eyes. "What time is it now?"
"Seven fifty."
Zoey suddenly opened her eyes, "It's time to get up. Let's go to the hospital later to have Carolyn checked and receive the injection."
"Okay. Brodie went early in the morning and said Carolyn's condition was stable."
Zoey hummed and jumped out of bed to freshen up, then changed clothes and had breakfast with Russell.
After dinner, the two of them went to the hospital.
Outside the ICU ward, Braylen and Aubrie saw Zoey pushing Russell towards them, with a smile on their faces.
