The forest stretched out endlessly as we moved through the snow, the only sound being the soft crunch underfoot. The trees stood tall, their bare branches twisting toward the darkening sky. Eventually, we reached a clearing, and there it was—a small, worn-down cabin between the trees. The roof sagged under the weight of snow, and the wooden walls were aged, showing signs of rot and weathering. Smoke curled lazily from the chimney, giving the place a strange air of warmth despite its dilapidated state.
