Annette looked at Connor and asked, "How can you be so overbearing?"
Connor chuckled. He said, "I am the Alpha of Blood Moon Pack. The entire pack's future is in my hand. This is my job, and I am used to it."
Annette shook her head and said, "Don't you know how the werewolves in Akron are talking about you? They said that you were cruel and they were scared of you."
"I don't care what others think of me," Connor said.
Annette was silent. She thought, 'He's right. What does it matter if others think of me as good or bad?'
