Getting Annette's promise, Marcus hugged her excitedly and then jumped up.
Annette patted him and said, "Well, stop acting like a child. Hurry up and call Connor to ask him out."
Marcus dialed Connor's number.
"Connor, come out and have lunch together."
"I'm busy."
"Connor, don't hang up. It's Luna Annette who wants to invite you for lunch. She said that she misses you," Marcus said with a smile.
Annette patted him on the shoulder, trying to grab the phone and speak to Connor directly.
However, Marcus ran away and did not let Annette reach the phone.
Connor was silent for a full ten seconds. He said over the phone, "Ask her to call me."
Connor then hung up the phone.
Marcus looked at Annette and sounded upset, "Connor asked you to call him."
