"Uncle Richard, are you okay?"
Oliver reached out and held Richard Bennett's hand, looking seriously concerned. Richard had been a seasoned veteran in the business world, always calm and composed.
If it weren't for that accident, he and Lucas might've already pushed the Bennett name into national fame. So seeing him like this now—it was seriously off.
Lucas's face was tense. "Oliver, what's happening with my dad?"
"Uncle Richard's brain got injured. He's awake now, but a lot of his memories are still fuzzy. Plus, he was in a coma for three years. His vocal cords have weakened—he can't speak for now." Oliver quickly explained, then turned back to Richard with a soft voice. "Uncle Richard, you're trying to say something, right? It's okay, take your time. We're not in a rush."
