Nolan changed the names of the two children.
The son's name was Simon Jones and the daughter's name was Susan Jones.
The nicknames were also Cary and Holly.
Both children were born prematurely and their physical fitness were not very well. Holly, in particular, didn't develop well when she was an unborn baby and was not treated well after birth, causing her to out of breath when she was tired and looked almost like a four-year-old. Fortunately, Mark have left Holly in the care of a normal couple, and she was now more vivacious.
