I wake up to the sound of a knock on the door.
"Kaylie... Lucas... Are you awake? Can we come in and take care of Adam?" I hear Danna's voice from behind the door.
I kiss Kaylie's forehead as she still sleeps soundly. "Love... Danna and Ted is here to take care of Adam. Put on your clothes, and I'll open the door."
Kaylie blinks her eyes and grabs her robe, jumping out of bed like a teenager caught by her parents having seks.
