"This is strange," whispered Isabella softly, furrowing her brow.
Alaric, standing beside her, tilted his head in confusion.
"What's strange?" he asked.
Isabella did not reply with words but pointed ahead with her index finger before speaking again. "There should have been an Eclipse guard post nearby, but I don't see any smoke at all."
They had both left Alaric's castle and headed towards the Eclipse mansion, hoping to warn everyone there that they were all in danger. However, where they were now, on the outer edge of Eclipse's territory, Isabella felt that this place was not as usual.
