“Juliet, darling! Oh, how I have missed you." My mom pulls me close after our group hug, holding on to me for another minute or two.
“I missed you too, Mom," I mumble into her shoulder.
Both of my parents tower over me, engulfing me in their arms. Mom is my height but she tends to wear heels whenever she can so they add an extra couple of inches to her height. She is almost my twin in every way and age has only made her better.
“Logan was just catching us up on the progress report," my dad says when Mom finally releases me. My mom gives me a look and I smile. She tries to hide her grin.
