Time had stopped

The route till the entrance was quite long; almost ten minutes of a road passing through the woods. All of a sudden, the square in front of the castle appeared to me with all its ancient Greek statues. As soon as the car stopped, I wanted to get off. I was very intrigued and excited to know more about this beautiful place. I looked up and realized that the walls were incredibly tall, making me feel like a dwarf. -Am I really going to live in this amazing place?- I asked myself. I got distracted from that sight by the arrival of a man who was about thirty years old, classy and well-dressed. He offered me his hand while presenting himself: I replied. The castle was entirely surrounded by beautiful silver pines, that went on to form a thick forest. The silver shades of those plants gave the landscape a fairy-tale atmosphere. Mr. Gork continued: He had to repeat it twice before I answered; I was so absorbed by that place. We crossed the front door; it was made of solid wood with inlaid decorations of animals. The interior was wonderful, decorated with ancient furniture - it was neat and comfortable, but it all looked as if time had stopped many centuries before. I followed Gork along a corridor with wooden walls full of adornments, until we reached a room furnished with a small salon. Two middle-aged men were waiting for us and Gork presented them as working personnel. I asked curiously. Said Gork, waiting for my answer with trepidation. I answered, thinking that it wouldn’t trouble me. I said with a smile. Gork went away and I followed the butler who led the way, with my suitcase in his hand, back to the entrance hall and then up to a long staircase. I was still feeling like I had been thrown back into the past, but this thought disappeared as soon as I saw the radiators - they were turned on, since the temperature was quite low. We went through another corridor and reached what would become my new room. I wasn’t surprised to see a huge canopy bed in the middle; almost all the furniture was old, except for a big white six-doors wardrobe which brightened up the place, making it very comfortable. There was even a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. I was enthusiastic, it was too much for me. Before then, I had only seen that kind of thing in magazines. But surprises were not finished yet; the butler opened the wardrobe and pointed at all the dresses and shoes saying that they were only for me: After saying that, he bowed his head and left the room. As soon as I was alone, I threw myself on the bed and stretched out my body while watching the frescoes on the ceiling. I closed my eyes, enjoying a moment of happiness I never had in my whole life.
