“Let me go,” I said softly, words clearly opposing the way that I was inching closer to him. He didn’t seem to mind, but he was sure to let his hands grew dangerously slow to hold me, making me aware that I wanted the touch.

A small smile crept in his face, making me feel the way it sizzled when it touched a fraction of my neck. “Why don’t you try hard in muffling your moans this time? Maybe that will back up your lies.”

“Fuck you.” I moaned as he let his tongue to touch yet another portion of my neck.

“Simply delicious.” He whispered, pressing a soft kiss that was enough to make me quiver. “I wonder what kind of faces you’re making now?”

How... did this happen?

Packed with a suitcase and a plan to change her ways to return back home, Fate Pierce will be surprised entering into a version of world that she had been running away from for years.

Prelude
Bound to the Alpha King Alpha Male Series Book #6   i. epigraph but darling, you are a river. the rocks will b r e a k you. the valleys will  bend you. but you will never s t o p. because that is  what you do. you flow.                             —vinati   ii. introduction People always say that parents knew best. It is one reading that had been popular through passing tongue. The very reason why parents continuously correct their children on something that they had progressively fucked up. Keeping in mind that they knew better than letting it continue brewing, it would not end well for their child to become. For years, Fate had always listened to her parents. However, this was one thing that she knew was that things were not right. “Mom, no! I will never agree to this!” She said, clearly vexed as her brothers were placing her things in the car, already making her aware that her parents were not just spitting threats last night. “Mom, stop! This is not fair!” Fate automatically backed away when she saw the daggers forming in her mother’s eyes. There are not a lot of things that scare her; she was tough as nails. But to have her mother, who is as sweet as honey, throw those eyes was something that would send her nightmares. From this moment on, she knew that she had fucked up badly. What she did was unreasonable and dangerous, but she never knew that she would force to pack her shit and move into another pack. She knew that this was too much, and they were being ridiculous. “I told you that there are things that are too much, Fate.” Her mother said, clearly angered by her daughter’s actions. Knowing what her mother could do, Fate backed off. The woman was powerful despite her looks, and she would not want to get hit. “I said I was sor—” Rean did not even respond. She let her hands grab the turtleneck to remind her daughter just how badly she had fucked up. Her brothers sighed as they saw a mark on her neck. Fate is reckless, and being drowned by alcohol does push her into doing stupid things. While it was not a bite that would have her marked—it was a hickey. “Sorry? You are already sorry for who knows how many times!” Her mother screamed, already having her close her eyes and backed down to this raging fire. “This fucking hickey is not the first, Fate. You know how I have told you not to fuck around with humans when you know that you have a mate!” Everyone had flinched upon hearing their mother curse. Fate, on the other hand, only sighed by her words. “Mother, nobody cares if—” “Not only that!” She screamed, letting her daughter be immobilized. “You were planning on morphing into your form? You know how endangered our kind is! Are you fucking crazy?”  Fate had stilled. It was a statement that she had no excuse for. A part of her was too stimulated by the alcohol, and if her brother wasn’t there to stop her- a much greater dilemma needed to be fixed by this second. As her mother was already enraged that she was close to committing intercourse with a human, she was also close to showing her true form to someone she does not know. “I said that I am sorry.” “Words are just words when you fail to correct your errors by the passing time. You continue repeating these mistakes because I only reprimand you.” Rean muttered. There was a calmness in her voice, but all could feel the prickling sensation from the link. Their mother is enraged- and hurt. “But if you had so much shown yourself in that man, you did not realize the danger you’ll be putting this pack.” “And you would be putting not only the pack but your mother in danger, Fate.” Fate quivered by the voice, looking at her feet as her father had talked. He is not bound to arrive home this early, but he must have heard her errors. From there, she realized that as the past Luna of the pack, her mother would be fighting with others. No one else would focus on her brother; all would be hunting her mother. “But dad…” Fate whispered, her eyes pooling with tears. “Moving to the palace? A pack that I am not familiar of? I don’t want that. Please. I will never do it again.” Her father grimaced. The guilt slowly raised to his head, urging him to face his wife. Rean only rolled her eyes, her feet dragging herself upstairs. Laurence is well aware that this is harder for his wife, but the blinded panic in his daughter’s mind could not see that. Slowly letting a sigh, he offered a slight frown to his daughter.  “Be grateful that you’re only traveling in one place and staying there until you graduate. If you had exposed yourself, we would both be running around until we die. Everyone in this pack has to suffer, and your father would have died by losing me.” After uttering such words, Rean entered her room and closed the door with a bang. Laurence trailed behind her, but not before he ruffled his daughter’s head. Fate’s shoulders slumped, sitting in the living room with nothing but a heavy heart. It was about time that she realized that she was acting too dangerously for a considered extinct kind.  Since she was the only female in the family, love, and affection is normal for her. It did not help that her parents were as doting and loving as she hoped they would be. While her parents reprimand her from time to time, there are cases that they would let it go and only pass it from her being a child. Now, everything changed. “Kun…” She called her brother. The man is the current Alpha of the pack, and one who heavily babied her. “Help me. I do not want to leave the pack, or anyone else.” Kun felt disappointed in her words, but he did his best to console her by patting her in the head. “Fate, you know that we love you, but you should know better than me that they are doing this for you. Mother will never let you off her sight, let alone visit in another country if it’s not necessary.” She knows. It is what hurts most. Fate knows that her mother would suffer more from this than she ever would. Her mother had been very protective of her because of her form. If people discovered her breed, they would be hunting her in all forms. Many would want their head hanged on their walls like a trophy.  Kun smiled, tapping her on the shoulder. “So, crawl back in her room and assure her that you would call her every single day.” “Thanks, Alpha.” She smiled. Jogging to the room that was larger than most, she frowned upon hearing the sniffles inside. Fate slowly pushed the door, letting her see how her father is gradually consoling her crying mother. Laurence quickly looked at her. “Fix this mess, Fate.” He said, walking out as he patted her head. She agreed, walking into the bed and tackling her mother for a hug. Fate cried, holding onto her mother, as she knew that she would spend many years in that place and away from her. “I will show you that I can change, Mom.” She whispered, holding her close. “You don’t have to worry about me. My grandparents are already there, and they will make sure that I am safe.” Her mother nodded. “I am sorry, Fate. You needed to do this.” “I know, Mom.” She murmured. While she knew that her attitude and how she views things would not change, it was not that hard to promise her mother that she would try. It felt like a natural thing, and while she is soft and lovely to her family, she is but a bitch to everyone she meets. Her family does not mind how she acts in public as they know better than everyone that she could protect herself. Still, Fate needed to control her desires into mating with humans, and being placed in a school and place where most people reside are paranormal was their safest bet. “And please, remember this one single thing.” Her mother grumbled, grabbing her daughter by the shoulders to look at her in the eyes. “You know the rules, and you can’t tell anyone about your morph. That being said, you will be going there as a human.” Fate nodded, knowing the rule very well so. “I know, Mom.” “I am serious about this, Fate,” the words seemed to waver as she continued. Rean wanted her daughter to see the importance of her words. “You do not have your brothers there to protect if you mess things up. For your safety, please do your best to be protective of your identity.” “I will.”   And by those words, she had sealed herself to enter into something that she did not see coming.
