[Jade] "Good morning sweetheart." I groaned and tried to block the noise out. "Verladi spensanova." I chanted quietly and the light in the room dimmed instantly. "Oh come on babe, you have to get up, I've been trying to wake you up for the last hour." Mason shook my shoulders vigorously. "Fine." I huffed and threw the covers back, my feet touched the slippers and I smiled. I hadn't forgotten to place them beside the bed last night. "I think you're forgetting something," Mason said as I brushed past him to the bathroom. "Oh really, what is that?" I asked and turned on the faucet. "The room." He raised one brow. "Oh, okay." I smiled and snapped my fingers, restoring light back into the room. "Remind me never to piss you off." He smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Well, you just did that." I joked and tried to pull his arm away from my waist. "Hmmm." He hummed and I could sense delicious danger lurking. "You do look incredibly sexy when you're pissed off." He said and he pressed his hard-on against my butt cheeks. "I should have known I was playing with fire." I moaned and rubbed my butt against his growing hard-on. "Too bad you woke up late and are late for work." He said and planted a kiss on my neck. "Oh come on, this is just downright cruel," I complained when he moved away from me. I was craving his touch and he was pulling away from me. "Get in the shower." He said and spanked my a*s. "Mason," I complained but he just smirked at me and left the bathroom. I sighed and turned on the shower as he left, after adjusting the water temperature to the right degree I settled into the shower watching the water run down my body, I stroked my already hard pebbles and I bit my lip to prevent me from moaning. My hands started to travel downward and I was tempted to just slip my fingers into my folds but then I remembered that Mason had super hearing, he would probably punish me wickedly if I pleasured myself without his permission. It had been a trying time for us all after Cyprus' attack and defeat. We all had to take a gap year and compulsory therapy, it didn't really affect the werewolves that much since it was practically what they had been dreaming of but Jay and I had to take a gap year from school and I didn't think he was considering going to college anymore. After Cyprus' death, Mason had started uniting all the werewolves, those from the yellow moon pack and even more, we had found many other rogues and stray wolves that didn't have a home and we had given them a home. Mason was already employed since he was Alpha and he had a lot of duties to attend to, I was also Luna too but I still wanted to get a job so I was working at the local grocery store and I couldn't tell you how I managed to keep that job because I was always late to my shifts. My mother recovered fully and moved into the mansion with Sirius, Jay also moved in with Liya so I did not miss my family much. We were all living at the packhouse. I like my life here, it was nice, great really, I got to wake up next to the love of my life every day, though I mostly woke up to an empty bed because I was always waking up so late and Mason would have already gotten up by then, but you get the idea. My family was safe and together, I managed to hold down a job and the entire pack loved me. I was even looking to take on an A-level program so that I could go to college next year but I hadn't discussed it with Mason so I wasn't entirely sure I would be doing that. I hadn't seen Jee since she disappeared after helping us win the war but I was relaxed now and I didn't try to find her because I knew that she was okay and if I truly needed her, she would come through for me. I also didn't contact Zara after receiving the letter she sent me, I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that she was a werewolf, that Debra was a werewolf, and that her father had been killed by my mate, that her father had been such a terrible man. Derrick had finally confronted his Dad and he had come out as gay, he was accepted into a top fashion school so he had gone away to college. Mason and I hadn't really talked about having kids but I could see that he wanted them, anytime he saw new pups with their parents, he always had a deep longing in his eyes though he never talked about them. I didn't want to talk to him about my plans to go away for college because I knew how selfish it would sound, he was just rebuilding the pack, he had responsibilities to a lot of people, a whole civilization, he couldn't just pack up shop and leave because I wanted to go to college and he couldn't stay so far away from me because of the mate bond, it would drive him crazy. "How much longer do you need in there?" Mason's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Just a sec," I replied and turned off the shower. When I got out of the bathroom, he was no longer in the room. I picked up my clothes and dressed for the day. My outfit was nothing fancy, just a pair of jeans, ankle boots, and a brown shirt, I packed my hair in a high ponytail and I wore a pair of tiny earrings and a necklace Mason had gotten for me for Christmas, I applied some lipstick and touched my face with light makeup then I picked up my car keys and my purse. "Mace, I'm ready to leave." I mind linked him and went downstairs. "Good morning Luna." Nana greeted me and smiled warmly at me. She was the only one that didn't seem to have a problem with how late I usually woke up. She was arguably the oldest werewolf in the pack but she liked to help in the kitchen and she was always ensuring that everyone was cared for so I began to call her Nana. "Good morning Nana." I greeted her back and hugged her. "I knew you would skip breakfast so I packed you something for the road." She said and I smiled. Whoever said food was not the way to the heart had certainly not eaten Nana's food. "Thank you so much, Nana." I smiled and pecked her on the cheek. "Where are the others?" "They've gone out for the day." She replied and I thanked her. I looked through the paper bag she handed over to me and I smiled, she had made me an egg sandwich and she had even packed me a juice bottle. "Mace, if you don't come down now I'm leaving without kissing you goodbye." I mind linked him and stared at my watch furiously. I bet I could reverse the time, but I wouldn't do it because it would alter life in general and I did not know the repercussions. Being powerful was tempting at times, sometimes I wondered if I could go back and change the past, maybe I would be able to stop my father from dying or even Jee from leaving. Let's just say therapy was a work in progress. "Sorry baby, I had urgent paperwork to attend to." Mason came downstairs and held my hand. He walked me to my car and just before I got in he grabbed me and covered my lips with his. This was my favorite part of the morning. *** "Late again are we Forrester?" John my co-worker sneered at me, it did not take a genius to find out that he didn't like me. "Leave her alone, Johnny." Sarah, another of my co-worker said, this one liked me a lot. "Tough morning?" She asked as I dropped my bag and changed into the store's t-shirt. "I woke up later than yesterday," I whispered and we both burst out into laughter. "Me too." She added and kept on laughing. "I don't even know why you still have a job here." John was back to irritate me. "Maybe it's because she does a better job than you." Sarah shot back at him and it was enough to silence him. I was thankful that I didn't have to deal with him again. John and I started working at the store at the same time but I was promoted over him and while he still worked in the folding section, I now worked the counter with Sarah. She was always covering up for me and that's why I still had a job at the store. I normally ignored John because it wasn't worth the trouble and I wasn't even working for the money, I was working because I just needed to, for my sanity's sake. After work, I had therapy and though I really didn't like to attend I had to, Jay and I promised our mother that we wouldn't skip therapy and I knew that I needed it. "Welcome Miss Forrester, wasn't sure you'd make it but I'm glad you did." Linda, my therapist, said and I just nodded my head. I might have agreed to attend therapy but that did mean I would participate. "So anything you'd like to talk about today?" She asked and scribbled something down in her notes. "No, nothing, in particular, I had a great day," I said without enthusiasm, I didn't really like Linda. "Your form says you hold a job down at the clothing store, isn't that like challenging for you?" She asked obviously trying to coax me into telling her my feelings. "No, I actually love fashion and clothing so it's really no stress besides I work counter so I don't have to deal with unbearable customers," I said and it wasn't actually a lie. "Okay then, Miss Forrester it seems like you had a great day indeed." She said and closed her file. "I have family dinner today, you think you can let me out early today?" I asked her pleadingly. "Of course, you seem to be quite excited today, I hope you bring the same energy to our future session." She smiled and I wondered if she never got mad at her clients. "Thank you, Linda," I said and she smiled back at me. "See you tomorrow, Miss Forrester." [Linda] My phone rings as soon as Miss Forrester is out of my office, I'm glad that the phone call didn't interrupt our session but as soon as I see the name on my phone screen fear grips me and I hurriedly answer the phone. "Yes, mother," I answer quietly and stand up from my seat. "Have you gotten anything out of her or are you going to prove useless to me once again?" She yelled through the phone and I couldn't help but feel bad. "I'm trying mother, I had to make her trust me first, we have to be patient." I pleaded with her. "I don't want to be patient, I want blood, I want heads to roll, I want bodies to drop, I want revenge." She growled out and I had to remove the phone from my ear because her voice was too loud. "Okay mother, you want revenge, I'll give you revenge, I'll make them pay, I'll make them rue the day they messed with my family," I said and hung up the phone. I opened my drawer and brought out a big file, it contained photos, photos of the people who had dared to mess with my family.
