The Devil Prince's Fallen Angel

The world of Devine consisted of two lands- Ethereal(the land of angels) and Dezeral(the land of demons). They were designated by the Almighty with the duty to protect or punish the humans for their actions. For centuries the two lands never overlapped and were separated by the forest of Lemuria.  While the angels lived on the rules of their holy book, the demons lived by the rule of instinct.  But there was one particular rule which was followed without fail: "An angel and demon can never mark each other as their soul mate" But that was until the demon prince and the angel princess intertwines as one. (500 years ago) "You can't keep me here forever, father!" He shouted as he pulled out his dark sword. "You cannot prevent me from saving her." The demon prince looked like a complete disaster. He was once a boy who walked in pride, always mischievous and deceitful. but now he was the one who was deceived. His eyes were glowing red as he glared at the King of Demons. Ramiel was calm as he stared at the pathetic condition of his son. The annoying angel princess has involved him so much. "Levi, what you are doing is utterly foolish," he said, still looking calm and composed. "You don't understand" The prince hissed at his father before attacking. But the king was fast as he jumped back elegantly shaking his head in disappointment. He always loved how his son was. Always proud but now? The boy looked utterly disgraceful. "You can go," the king said as the latter suddenly froze in shock. "What?" "Do you want me to repeat? You. Can. Go. But remember that falling in a forbidden love will result in being expelled from the Devine world." the king said but his son dashed out of the room only hearing half of what his father told. Ramiel sighed and looked at the door before turning to his viceroy. "Your highness, you didn't tell him what happened," the brown hair greater demon said as the other nodded. "He wouldn't listen. Besides, it is better he finds out himself" *************** Leviathan ran through the barrier forest that separated the Demon and Angel land. He didn't care about the harsh pouring rain; he didn't care about the aching pain in his body. He just wanted to see his angel. He passed the angel barrier without a care in the world. Almost immediately a group of angels appeared blocking his path. "Leave," the general in command said as he pointed his white sword at him. "No. Not until I see her" the demon boy hissed glaring at the Angel General. It didn't take long for the angel to attack the demon prince.  The prince was weak. He knew that. The poison in his body was still active. He couldn’t change or use his sword properly. He knew he is bound to lose to 5 higher angels but he didn't care. He raised his sword and fought through them. He was swaying and his whole body was screaming but he ignored it. He needs to find her. He needs to save her. He needs her in his arms safe and sound.  The leader general swiped his sword but the young prince was too slow as it cut right through his stomach. He groans and fell to the ground. The celestial swords always burn right through a demon's body. He first experienced the pain when he met his fierce angel. An angel and demon meeting each other is a rare occasion. And it usually ends up in trying to kill each and that was exactly what happened when he met Bella. He was brought out of his thoughts when the Angel general grabbed his hand and brought him to his knees. "You." he hissed angrily as he grabbed Levi by his hair. "Because of you, she is going to suffer," he said as he punched the latter's face. The angel general showed no mercy as he kicked and punch the weak demon.   "P-Please. Just p-please. I want to see her" the prince said as the general ground his teeth. "You have no right!" Once again Levi was punched in the face. "Please. P-Please" the prince gasped out. The Demon prince has never apologized and showed such a low face to anyone. But now he didn't care about his pride.  Just his angel. The angel general formed his hand into a fist and glared at the demon boy. "Fine" he spat out as the latter looked up. "Take him to the chamber," he said before he walked away. The angels didn't waste time as he dragged the tired half conscious prince to the chamber. The vision was blurry as he couldn’t figure out the path they are walking. They were clearly going back to the forest barrier and not to the land of angels. The sound of a rusty door opening filled his ear making him wince in pain. His head felt like playing drums inside. He was suddenly thrown into the room. "You have 10 minutes." One of the angel warriors said as he moved back. The young prince adjusted his eyesight in the low light and looked around.  His eyes suddenly widen. He felt the air being forced out his lungs. "No" he whimpered before crawling to a lying figure. "No. "He said as he turned the body. A gasp left his mouth. It was his angel. It was the one person who was capable of curing his dark heart. "Bella" he whimpered as he put his forehead on hers. "Bella.... Wake up. Please wake up" The question was welcomed with nothing but silence. He let out a sob as he hugged her. She was in her angel form. Her pure white wings were covered in blood. Unlike her usual white warrior uniform, she wore a white short flair dress which now looked crimson red. Her golden harp was completely broken. The divine strings have been ripped from the instrument. "You have the audacity to cry when you are in fact the one who did this to her," one of the angels said as his head snaps to him. What? "What happened to her," he asked as the angel only stared at him. "Tell me," he said as he gently placed his angel on the floor before standing up. His leg was shaking as he took steps closer to the angel. The punishment for forbidden love was banishment, not death! Why did they kill her! The warrior angel only looked at him in caution. "Tell me!!" the prince shouted grabbing the angel by his uniform. "Unhand me, demon" the angel immediately responded slapping the bloody hands of his white uniform. "She is sentenced to death for killing Princess Inara" "What! No!" the prince's eyes widen as he looked at the angel in shock. "That is not true. She will never kill Inara!" The prince is so confident that will not happen. She was his angel's half sister but she was kind and looked after Bella as her own sibling. Inara was the only one who knew about them. She was the only one who supported us. "It is true. She killed her own sister and we know it was under your order" the angel said grinding his teeth. "That is not true. I didn't order her and even if I did Bella will never kill her sister" "ARAbella broke the rule we live by and decided to bond with you. It will not be a surprise if she kills her own blood" the warrior angel spoke stressing the word Ara. They hate it when the demon keeps calling the angel with the nickname which only he calls. "And your time here is over" he finished as he walked to the prince. His eyes widen as he looked at his Bella and then at the angels. "No!" the Prince was ready to protest but he didn't notice the angel next to him. The angel quickly summoned his small gold harp and played a string. The prince's already drooping eyes felt even heavier as he fell on the ground completely blanked out. This was the consequence they had to face for being together. The young demon prince was sent to earth as punishment. For years he roamed around alone and feeling hopeless. His father has sent a few minions to look after him but he lost all purpose of his life. Slowly he started to adapt to the humans. He was there when the two world wars happened. He was there when the monarchy was overthrown by democracy. Now he owns millions of assets and corporate around the world. His minions and trusted people watch over the prince and keep him in check. He lost his old personality. He was no longer mischievous. He was no longer a playful person. He only walks around living each moment with guilt and loneliness. His immortality prevents him from taking his life.
