Evelyn couldn't help but find Julian a bit adorable as he put on his pitiful act in front of her.
She reached out and patted his head like she was soothing a spoiled cat. "Alright, fine. You can stay."
For some reason, she just didn't have it in her to turn him down right now.
Julian narrowed his eyes slightly and leaned into her palm, like a puppy seeking comfort.

He was pretty sure Alexandra had tied the knot with Henry.
Evelyn's expression dimmed. "No idea."
Obviously, she wasn't in the mood to discuss Henry.
