As the twilight faded, a phone call came and Mark frowned out of the room.
Lily stepped barefoot on the plush carpet and walked softly to the windowsill.
She opened the curtains and looked out of the window to see all the green trees. She was on the third floor, blocked by the trees, and she could not see any further. She was a bit flustered, looking back into the room - all European classic furniture and decorations. There was France. But why was there so much forest outside? And where did Mark take her?
