Claire finally snatched her phone back and slumped onto the couch, not even bothering to hide her irritation with Nelson.
In hindsight, it was her bad decision. When she chose Silverhollow Villa, she only thought about how peaceful it was. That it was way out from downtown didn't cross her mind—now she couldn't even get a ride out.
Nelson didn't continue arguing. He just stared at her for a moment, then turned and took out his phone.
At the top of his contacts list, the name still saved as 'Claire' had been there for years.
