She thought it was boring as hell, so she met up with Elsie at a bar instead.   The moment Elsie stepped in, she saw Sophia waving from across the room. “Over here!”   “What’s up? You look like you just lost a fortune or something,” Elsie said as she sat down, catching the troubled look on Sophia’s face.   “Don’t even start.”   Sophia buried her face in her hands, her brows wrinkled tight like two caterpillars in a knot. “My parents set me up on a blind date!”   “Let me guess… Lucas?”   Sophia almost choked on her drink. “What the—how did you know?!”   Elsie shrugged. “Gut feeling. People who can’t stand each other usually turn out to be fated matches.
