Heather looked at his outstretched hands, hesitating.
"It's fine. I got this."
The wooden boat wasn't too tall. She held onto the edge and slowly stepped into the water.
"There's a lot of mud in there. Watch your step," Leon reminded with a grin, pulling his hand back.
Heather gave a small nod and made her way towards the area with the most lotus flowers.
Now that she was in the pond, she could finally enjoy picking flowers without worrying.
"Huh?"
Seeing the four of them getting into the water, the two on shore clearly got intrigued.
"Kai, playing in the mud isn't great for your image. You stay put, I'm going in first."
