Sebastian dropped by the office late in the evening to deal with a few urgent matters.
Just as he stepped out of the elevator, Ms. Woods approached him with a conflicted expression. "Ms. Grace is here."
Sebastian stopped in his tracks.
He stared at her, saying nothing for a long while.
Since leaving Halden two years ago, Elaria hadn't set foot here again. If she showed up today, it could only be because of Ryan.
After a pause, Sebastian asked quietly, "Where is she?"
Ms. Woods replied quickly, "She's still in recovery. I had her wait in your office. She looks pale-must be seriously weakened... It's only been ten or so days since she gave birth."
