Khalan, Luke, Khalie, and Vince were seriously discussing the case of Aliyah in Vince’s office. It was not good news for everyone…
“We need to operate as soon as possible.” Dr. Vince said his eyes didn't reflect the same sparkle usually displayed by the light-hearted man.
“You said that the tumor increased in size almost half, right? If it was dangerous when it was still smaller, how was the success rate on this one?” Khalan asked, his face pale as he gazed sternly at Dr. Vince.
“Well, I had arranged the best team Khalan, and they agreed at a 60% success rate,” He said sadly. It was too low for a brain operation which further aggravates the tension in the room.
Everyone in the room shivered. It was the brain, after all, and any mistake Aliyah could be rendered vegetable for life.
