CHAPTER 43 – A helping hand
Radur’s POV
We ran to the ground floor to check on the soldier. His thick blood was flowing all over the ground. Soon, it wasn’t only us, but most of them in the castle had arrived to see the horrible scene. His eyes were closed and most of his bones were broken.
“I should have questioned him yesterday! He was a piece of major evidence. We could have caught the culprit directly!” Reigyn lashed out with disappointment.
“What happened here?” Father arrived after few minutes and his eyes widened at the sight of the body.
“Quickly clean this place up and prepare the body for the burial,” Father instructed.
“Your Grace, with your permission, may I inspect the body?” Emma requested, walking forward and bowing her head.
