CHAPTER 48 – Emma, the royal nurse
Emma’s POV
I don’t know how I drifted off last night. The last thing I remembered was Radur taking me to his lap and brushing his fingertips on both my arms. His soothing words made me feel like I was floating to heaven. When I woke up, those pair of blue eyes were looking at me. I blinked for a moment, I thought I was dreaming and I wanted to keep looking at those deep blue eyes. I roamed my eyes and then reality hit my mind. I was in his chamber and on his bed. It was the second time I had slept on his bed with him, the previous time was when he saved me from Francesco.
