I raced to Victoria's apartment. Fear pulsing in my viens. I can not let her get hurt during this war. I need her safe at all costs. I fear that Viktor already knows about her, and may even already be going after her for everything she knows about him. I banged my fist on her front door with trepidation in my heart.
