I searched around the common room looking for Victoria. A bush of bright red hair caught my attention, sending a sense of relief through me. "Victoria", I uttered, as I got closer to her. "Carlo, you are back safe. You had me worried. I saw your family come back, but I didn't see you", she whispered worriedly. I cupped her face in my hands. "I'm right here, bambina", I muttered, sealing her lips with mine.
She seemed slightly taken aback by my actions, but quickly melted into my arms. "I'm so happy you are back safe", she said into my chest. "Come. I need a shower. So, I will take you to my room. After, we will meet the family for dinner", I said softly, taking her hand. "Is that allowed?", she whispered, looking around with a worried expression.
