Nick’s P.O.V
There was something off with Riley. She hadn’t been acting herself tonight, and I was beginning to worry. She has been acting strange and distant. Even when I tried to kiss her, she never seemed that into it.
“Riley, will you please tell me what is going on? There is something wrong,” I said.
She looked at me, and I knew by the look on her face, something was for sure wrong. I see the tears welling up in her eyes.
“I can’t tell you,” She whimpered out.
“You can tell me anything,” I said.
I thought maybe she had decided she didn’t want to be with me or perhaps she has met someone else, that is better for her.
“I can’t tell you this, because you will leave,” She sobbed, “You will not want me anymore,” She added, turning away from me.
