We shut the gate as the party bus carrying the last load of guests pulled away.
“What a perfectly splendid evening!” Danny said as he put his arm around Boom.
“Wait. Do any of you hear screaming?” Lucky asked. Rowan’s smile faded as his ears perked up. Before I, or any of us could process what muffled sounds we were hearing Bastien came barreling towards us.
“Evan and his girls attacked Scarlett; Dylan needs help. I think the three of them are somewhere on the island, but I went back to help Dylan and Scarlett, they’re on the far side of the island.” Bastien pointed in the direction where Dylan and Scarlett were, Lucky said nothing, he just took off like a bat out of hell with Rowan and Laa right behind him.
“You two go that way” Danny pointed at Boom and Ba
