COUNCIL MEMBER TIMOTHY STARK
Everything was going to plan. I had just finished taking down a vampire and a young, fairly inexperienced witch. She had tried to use her magic to subdue me, but I was too strong for her. I was heading over to help Council Member Hughes, who was dealing with a group of seven men attacking him. Suddenly, a terrible pain ripped through me. I saw that it had hit Hughes, too. I fought through the pain to reach him. The men had taken advantage of his moment of weakness and had put him to the ground. One had moved swiftly behind him and wrapped his arm around Council Member Hughes neck. I could see what was about to happen, but couldn’t stop it. I would never reach them before that piece of crap could snap his neck.
