I had returned home to check on Holly with our mothers. They had been shocked when they had returned with food, and I had filled them in. We had searched the hospital for the intruders but had found nothing. Well, almost nothing. The vampire had left a slight scent behind in Holly’s room. It should have been much stronger, but he must have found a way to conceal it. I was planning to go and see Council Member Harper to let him know what had happened, but I wanted to check on Holly first. Tina had headed straight up to Holly’s room and began to tell for me and my mum.
