The second Kendall closed went inside the house, I felt like I couldn’t breathe right.
I sat there, still in park, gripping the steering wheel like it could keep me in place. The taste of her lips was still on mine, soft and warm, and my skin was still tingling from where her cheek brushed against my hand. My heart was beating way too fast.
This time though, the kiss wasn’t fake. Not for a second. That was real. Realer than anything I’ve felt in a long time. And when she kissed me back? God. I knew I was screwed.
