Zoie woke up with a pounding on her head. Slowly, she pried her eyes open to see the sunlight from her window.

She looked down to see her bed. Her whole body was sore, there were bruises on her legs and knees and she didn’t know how she got them. Zoie pushed the duvet cover from her body and noted the bruises on her thighs. And then she realized…

She was completely naked. Her dress and shoes from the night before were scattered on the ground. And as if that wasn’t enough, Zoie felt something behind her.
