Cyril’s POV The sun was already setting when my car rolled past the gates. The manor stood quiet, too quiet. I expected to see one or two guards at the door, but none of them looked at ease. They straightened as soon as they saw me, their eyes darting toward each other before greeting. I stepped out, closed the car door, and adjusted my coat. “Where is Ella?” I asked immediately.
