I look around at my friends, Hali, Gage, Callan, and Mackenzie, surround me whilst Seona sits in one of the chairs, Hallick perched on the arm beside her, one hand on her stomach as she cuddles into him, everyone smiling over at me.
I grin back, my heart swelling with how much love I’m feeling right now, that everyone came over just to welcome me home. Hugging each in turn, I scan the area, frowning when I realise that Harrison and Eden are missing.
Lincoln let me know about Harrison’s injury, he was rushed into surgery when he arrived at the hospital, and I have yet to see him. I know he was released a couple of days ago, but neither he nor Eden came to my room before they left.
