It was agonizing watching the paramedics roll Carla's unconscious and bruised body into the ambulance with a stretcher. I wanna go with her to the hospital, but I'm being restricted to a spot by three school professors.
They'd arrived minutes ago, right after I'd morphed back into my human form and had Carla in my arms. More students from the campground arrived too. Then the ambulance arrived next and I was asked to hand her over to them.
Now, they were making sure they had me in place because they were waiting for the city police officers who would arrest me for morphing into my wolf form.
Like Rick Taylor said, it was a golden law and I violated it. So there would definitely be consequences. I just don't know how severe those consequences are gonna be.
