LUNA CHLOE BAXTER. I was on edge, waiting as patiently as I could for the woman to return. She had promised that she would help me escape, but said that I would need to wait until morning. That once the sun was up, it would be much safer to move. She was, of course, right. We were dealing with vampires, after all. They wouldn't be able to follow me into the daylight, making my chances of escape much higher. There was still that demon that had brought me here to worry about, but I would rather have to deal with one demon than Goddess only knows how many vampires. I had no way of knowing how long I had waited or how long it would be until the sun was up. I only knew that it felt as though it was taking forever. I found myself wishing for a clock.
