ALPHA CHRIS BAXTER. I slept better than I had expected, too. I woke feeling refreshed and ready to go find Chloe. Though I had lingered in bed for a few moments after waking. Her scent felt as though it was wrapped around me in a warm embrace, and I wanted to enjoy that feeling for a little longer. I made the bed and placed the stuffed wolf on the pillow before washing and dressing. Heading downstairs, I felt like I had a new energy. One night in Chloe's bed, surrounded by her things, breathing in her beautiful scent, and I was ready to take on the world.
