Kyra's POV I stood on the balcony watching Snow eat her strawberry ice cream with Ana. She looked so happy. It was different from all the chaos in our lives. My phone buzzed. Nathan was calling again. I sighed and answered. "Hey," I said quietly. "Are you okay?" His voice sounded worried. "The reporters attacked me during my morning run. Three of them jumped out from behind bushes." I leaned against the railing. "We're okay. How's Phoebe? This mess might hurt her too." "Dad got more security for her. She's safe," Nathan said. "I'm more worried about Snow. She can't run and play outside anymore. Every pup needs that." My chest felt tight. My daughter should have a normal childhood. She shouldn't be chased by reporters or stuck inside like a prisoner. "Yeah, I'm worried about her too.
