Alexander's POV
I started to worry about Aria. It had been longer than I expected, and she still hadn't made it back yet. I tried to chalk it up to the fact that there may have been a line. But, now my gut is starting to tell me something is wrong. "Hey buddy, let's go check on mommy, then we can come back, okay?", I called out to Colin, who was swinging on the swing set now. "Okay", he said, bouncing off the swing and toward me.
I held my hand out for him to take. "Do you know the way to the nearest drink stand?", I asked him, as I headed in the same direction that Aria did. "Yeah, it's this way. Not too far", he answered, pulling me along. Colin stopped in his tracks as we approached a tall man who had his back turned to us. "That's daddy. Why is he here?", Colin whispered frightened.
