Alexander's POV
I watched as Aria tucked Colin into bed. "Are you going to be here more?", Colin asked, looking up at me. Aria's eyes followed his. "Yes. Is that okay with you?", I countered, uncrossing my arms and taking a step into the room. Colin's face lit up. "Yes. I'm okay with that", he answered, with a head nod. "Good", I said. Aria and I told him goodnight, and she pulled the door closed.
"Thank you for everything, by the way", Aria whispered, as she led me back to the kitchen. "You don't have to keep saying thank you", I announced, as I locked the front door. "I feel like I do", she uttered, pulling two cups from the cupboard. "Want something sweet?", she asked, grinning over her shoulder at me. "Absolutely", I answered, leaning against the counter to watch her work.
