I was so confused and by the look on Alex's face, I could tell he was confused as well.
“She’s your mate?” Uriel asks Yaga and he nods.
“Does that mean you and her are mates too?” Alex asks Sonia.
“No, just like Uriel and Yaga are not mates” Sonia replies.
“Wow. This is crazy. I hope the Moon Goddess knows what she’s doing” I mumbled.
“Why did she look so afraid?” Yaga asked looking a bit impatient.
“Before I found out Aksana and I were mates, she had a mate before me. I’m not going to go into details but she was pregnant and didn’t know it” Uriel said.
“None of us did” Alex said.
“Her mate rejected her which caused her to lose the baby. She probably thought you were going to reject her” Uriel said.
“Now I understand” Yaga said.
“We need to find her” I said.
